We only collect what you choose to give us, plus basic technical data from your browser.

• Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, and preferred contact method.
• Business details — company name, industry, size, years in operation, the kinds of records your business keeps, and other answers you give in our estimate funnels and manifests.
• Sample links and files — links to sample records you share with us so we can price your records accurately.
• Careers applications — your application answers and any video or audio you record and submit.
• Partner program — details about you and the companies you introduce, and the information we need to pay your bonus.
• Usage data — pages viewed, buttons clicked, the ad or link that brought you here, device and browser type, and approximate location based on IP address.

• Estimates — to calculate your estimate and prepare your manifest.
• Contacting you — to follow up by email, phone, or text about your estimate, application, or introduction.
• Making introductions — to connect your business with buyers, once you choose to move forward.
• Hiring and payouts — to review careers applications and pay partner bonuses.
• Improving the site — to understand which pages and campaigns work, and to measure our advertising.
• Legal — to prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and enforce our terms.

We do not sell the personal information you submit through this site. We share it only in these cases:

• Buyers you choose to proceed with — nothing about your business goes to a buyer until you decide to move forward.
• Service providers — companies that run parts of our service for us: hosting, analytics, and file storage (Vercel), database (Neon), email delivery (Resend), payments and payouts (Whop), and internal team notifications. They may only use your data to provide those services to us.
• Advertising partners — Meta and Google receive limited event data, such as a completed estimate, so we can measure our ads. Where we send contact details for this purpose, they are hashed before they leave our servers.
• Legal reasons — when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cognor, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — if Cognor is merged, acquired, or sells its assets, your information may transfer as part of that deal and stays covered by this policy.

We use cookies and similar technology, including Vercel Analytics, Google tags, the Meta Pixel, and the Whop pixel. They help us see how people find and use the site and whether our ads work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, but we won't be able to tell which link brought you here.

We keep your information while we're working with you, and for a reasonable time after that for record-keeping, legal, and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete it sooner; see the next sections.

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only authorized team members can access it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send us anything you aren't comfortable sharing, such as passwords or payment card numbers.

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

• Access — tell you what personal information we have about you.
• Correct — fix information that is wrong or incomplete.
• Delete — remove your personal information, unless we must keep it by law.
• Opt out — stop marketing emails and texts. Use the unsubscribe link, reply STOP, or email us.

Email support@cognorlabs.com with your request. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we won't treat you differently for using these rights.

This site is for businesses and working adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date. If the change is significant, we'll also tell you by email or on the site.
